Christmas 2018

The Christmas season was a busy one with school programs, visits to see Santa, and family time at home.

Bailey's School Program

Milk and Cookies with Santa

Josie's Program

John and Vi came to the program.
Grandma and Grandpa Muscha came to our house for Christmas.

Student of the Month and The Headless Horseman - November 2018

Josie was awarded Student of the Month by her teacher Miss Hieb!  She was so excited.  Bailey was the narrator for her class play of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.  That covers November because I didn't get any pictures of Thanksgiving.

Halloween 2018

Bailey didn't get to enjoy Halloween like she would have liked (see the post about the crummy fall) and I don't have any pictures of her.  Josie dressed up as JoJo Siwa, and she certainly had enough sass to pull it off.

Bailey's friends were so sweet and a few of them brought treats because she couldn't trick-or-treat very easily.
She designed it and Daddy carved it.

Crummy Fall for Bailey October-December 2018

Mid-October was a scary time for us.  Bailey got sick with what we thought was strep throat, but the antibiotics didn't help and she started to have trouble with her coordination.  She finally couldn't walk and the pediatrician sent us right to the hospital for an MRI.  After ruling out some very scary scenarios she was diagnosed with Acute Cerebellar Ataxia. Basically a virus had reached her cerebellum and really messed with her coordination.  The whole thing lasted about 12 weeks, and she spent a few of those in a wheel chair.  She was such a trooper, and she worked hard at PT to gain back her coordination.  We are so thankful that she made a full recovery and is back to her old self.  When I looked back at that period I realized we didn't take any pictures of Bailey, but it wasn't really the kind of thing you want to remember with pictures.

Bailey's 11th Birthday September 2018

As usual I am so far behind on my blog.  I am going to try to catch up in the next couple of days.  I have an entire school year to get through because the last thing I posted was the first day of school! It is now almost July 1st.

Bailey had a small celebration with our family and Matt for her birthday and then got to take a friend to Billings for a night as well. Syra joined us in Billings, and everyone had a great time.

They chose the Asian Grill for supper.

First Day of First and Fifth Grades

Summer was amazing, but it was time to go back to school.  We have all had a great first couple of weeks.

Have a great year girls!

Annual Fish Fry 2018

I didn't think we could possibly feed more people than the last two years of around 85, but we broke our record this year with 94.  Yes, 94 people crammed into our yard and house for our Muscha Summer Party.

So much food!
Wynn and Peters came from Plentywood!

The fish frying operation.

A Washers tournament took place.
