It is dumping snow today, the first for us this fall.  It has reminded me that winter comes early around here, and I decided I better blog about fall before it disappears.

Miles City has a hay bale decorating contest each year.  The kids were very excited to go check out the creative bales.

We checked out the local pumpkin patch, and Bailey searched high and low for the perfect pumpkin.

Fall soccer was a short season, but Bailey loved it!  She is quite the little soccer player.

And of course Josie is a fantastic spectator.

Our MOPS group had a Harvest Festival, and the girls dressed up as ballerinas. There were fun crafts, games, and treats.

Our church had a Fall Festival fundraiser for the youth group.

This is Sally the Salamander.  Grandpa Wayne spotted her on the road when he was driving with Bailey. We were visiting Harvey, ND.

Bailey got to keep Sally for the day, and she was actually a pretty cool creature.  We let her go that evening so she could find a good place to hibernate before the snow came that night.

Bailey traced leaves and painted a pumpkin at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I was very impressed.

Mom and Bailey decorated some Halloween cookies.  Yum!

Bailey made this vampire pumpkin which was my favorite of the day.

Woohoo for sisters!
That is our fall so far.  Halloween is in a couple of day, and I am sure I will remember to take some pictures of that.  Probably. Most likely. Let's hope.
