Grandma Lynn x 2

No there aren't two Grandma Lynns, at least not in this family.  But she did come to visit twice in the last few months and I just rounded up all the pictures from the visits.  The first trip took place a bit before Halloween.  It looked a little something like this:

Grandma brought lots of crafts for Bailey.

Hmm, not sure what to say about this one.

All ready to go play outside

Josie loves the dog door and spent quite a bit of time playing with it. Grandma was inside taking pictures.

Bailey LOVES to go to Discovery Pond to see the animals, play in the cabin, and check out the gallery upstairs.

Josie love!
Then Grandma Lynn came to visit in December for an early Christmas!

Decorating cookies!

Grandma when to school with Bailey.

Special ornaments for the girls.

A painting project

Thanks for coming to visit us Grandma Lynn.  We hope to see you soon.  Love you!

The Christmas Season

We so enjoyed our holiday season.  There were many fun things for the girls to do, and I tried to hit them all. Grandma Lynn came for an early Christmas visit but I forgot to take any pictures of all the stuff they did except a few of the cookies they made.  Grandma if you are reading this please let me know if you have some pictures of that trip.  When I was looking to see if I had any I did find a bunch of very cute pictures from another time that Grandma Lynn was here in October which I somehow forgot to blog about.  I will get to that next and things will just have to be a bit out of order.  Speaking of out of order, the Christmas pictures loaded in a random order so please forgive the strange timeline.  I wasn't great at taking many pictures, but I tried to get a few. The Muschas had some on their camera too, thank goodness.  I get so wrapped up in the moment that I forget to even think about taking pictures.  You will get the idea though.

Here I am getting a nice surprise gift from Kathy and Wayne. Thank you!
The girls had so much fun opening gifts.

I have said it before, but sisters are wonderful!

Miles got a turkey!  He smoked it and it was delicious.

Josie doesn't usually hold still long enough for a cute picture.  This is as close as it gets.

Now Bailey will pose for you all day long.

Josie got an "iphone" of her very own.

We went to Breakfast with Santa at the Eagles.  Yummy food and lots of fun!

We visited the reindeer at Murdochs.

Here are some cookies that Bailey made with Grandma Lynn.
Daddy pulled the girls on the sled around the block.

Christmas Morning

Santa brought a ride-along for Josie and Princess Celestia and an IPad for Bailey.  Just what everyone wanted!

Heading into church on Christmas Eve.

My beautiful girls

We might be the only family who left venison jerky for Santa.  We thought he might need some protein.

Ella the Elf

The Elf on the Shelf tradition has arrived at our house.  Bailey named her Ella, and boy was she a tricky little elf.  Each night she flew home to the North Pole to report to Santa, and when she came back she liked to play tricks on us.  Here are a few of the silly things we found in the morning.

Ella stole the candy out of the Advent calendar and hid it downstairs.

A powdered sugar snow angel

Our stockings got replaced with underwear - so silly.

She drew all over our bathroom mirror.

Ella stacked all of my boxes into a tower.

The furniture got flipped upside down.

She left a note for the girls on Christmas morning.
