Some Fun!

Bailey and Annaleis filled the sandbox with water and did a little surfing.
Autumn was nice enough to share some strawberries with Josie at the frog pool.

Woohoo for Playdoh!

Josie insisted on wearing her ladybug hat to play outside.

Bailey attended 3-in-1 Bus Club for a week and had a great time!

Miles took Bailey camping with Clea and Scott.

Our New Family Member

Meet Ebere!  She is the newest member of our family, and she will be moving to Miles City in August.  She will be attending Miles Community College, and we are going to be her host family.  She is from Nigeria, and she will be playing basketball for the Pioneers.  We have been getting to know her through emails and a few phone calls.  We are so excited to meet her and spend time with her.  She won't be living at our house, but we hope to be her home away from home and be her family while she is so far from her own family.  I think Bailey is the most excited to have a "big sister."

Froggy Pool Fun

The frog pool finally opened!  I don't think that is the official name, but it works for us.  Miles City has a free wading pool for kiddos, and it has a little frog slide.  It is supposed to be for kids 6 and under, but I still let Bailey go.  It has been so hot that we have been going a couple of times a day.  When we aren't at the frog pool we are having fun in the backyard.  Woohoo to summer!

HeeHee!  Baby buns!

Juice Pops are a must!

No More Cast!!

Bailey got her cast off!  She was a little nervous, but she did great.  It has been over a week and she is slowly getting movement back in her arm.  She is still hesitant to really push it, and she is supposed to be careful with it for another couple of weeks.  We have one more check up on the 22nd and then she is good to go.

Monkey Jammies and Dancing Shoes

Josie is silly.  The other day she really wanted to play outside in her monkey pajamas.  Oh and she also HAD to wear her favorite "dancing" shoes, which are really just little black dress shoes.  And of course you're never fully dressed without your bike helmet.
I think she is mad at her bike in this pictures.

South Dakota!

We headed to Rapid City and Spearfish over Memorial Day weekend.  Apparently millions of raindrops had the same idea because it rained almost the entire time we were there.  We took advantage of a break in the weather to take the girls to Story Book Island in Rapid.  My niece Elyse joined us.

Elyse, Josie, Bailey & Miles crossing over the entrance.

This was one of the only times the girls were all together.  The "big" girls got to head off on their own and we only saw them for the occasional check in.

Josie's impression of a pig.

She was so excited to see Piglet and kept hugging him.

Hugs for Winnie the Pooh too.

Cinderella!

Giddy-up!

And even more hugs for Snow White.
I adore this picture of Josie looking out of the train window.

We passed Dad and the big girls while we were on the train.

She wishes she was a mermaid like Ariel.

Despite the chilly weather we had a great time.

All pooped out.
After spending a night with our friends in Rapid City we headed to Spearfish to stay with Uncle Traig.  It continued to rain and rain and rain.  In the evening we had an hour or so when it let up, so we decided to get out of the house for a walk.  Spearfish is such a beautiful city!
I should have zoomed in on this picture before I posted it, but Josie was so cute holding Uncle Traig's hand.

Aunt Laura was nice enough to carry Josie part of the way.
The girls spent part of the trip home holding hands.  They are so sweet when they aren't fighting.

Pictures from Grandma Lynn

My mom came to visit a few weeks ago, and I wasn't great about taking pictures.  I posted a few that I had, but I got more from my mom and want to share those as well.

Playing with modeling clay from Grandma.

Bailey is so creative!

A few of the finished products.

Grandma went to school with Bailey and they had a special Cowboy Breakfast.

Reading stations at school.

We went to BuyMT for ice-cream and some silliness.

Playing at the park during Bucking Horse Sale.

The girls enjoyed reading to Grandma each night.
