Easter 2016

Easter was a multi-week celebration for our family.  We started by celebrating early with the Muschas because they were in town and we were going to be in Belgrade/Bozeman over Easter weekend.

Getting ready for church.  Why can't they always be this sweet to each other?

The first of many egg hunts.  This one was at Travis and Jen's.

It is so nice to enjoy time with cousins!

Our first night in Bozeman included a birthday supper for Grandpa Bob. The newlyweds, Shane and Kimber, made it too.

The birthday boy and Grandma Sue.
Of course we had to dye eggs with Grandma Lynn.

And there were craft projects!

Ready for Easter Sunday church in Belgrade.

Egg hunt #2 at Peace Lutheran.

Time for hunt #3 at Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's house.

Easter Cuties!

Checking out the loot.

Cousin Sarah was home for the weekend too.

Aunt Kimber!

Of course the girls had to jam on Grandpa Wayne's drums.

Woohoo for sisters!

We hope you had a wonderful Easter holiday too.

More Baby Lambs (Because who doesn't want to see more cuteness??)

The girls are in love with all of the baby lambs.  Josie is so proud of herself because she can hold them all by herself.  These ones were twins, and they weren't even a day old in these pictures.

Sweet Little Baby Lambs

Have I mentioned we are sheep farmers?  We were fortunate enough to get involved with a group of friends who raise Shetland sheep.  I was skeptical when we were first given lamb to eat, but one bite and we were hooked.  It is amazing!  We bought into the operation, and we are now part owners of a small flock of sheep.  The last couple of weeks have been the busy time for us with shearing, butchering, and lambing all happening at once.  Of course the best part is the adorable baby lambs.

Here are the sheep before shearing.

Our first lamb of the season!

This little lamb will be going to a farm in Custer to be their new breeding ram.  Lucky little fella.

Bailey absolutely loves the lambs.
