Halloween 2017

The Halloween season started with a mask painting party at the Perkins house.  A few days later it was time for costumes and candy.  Josie changed her mind multiple times, but ended up going as Elena of Avalor (if you don't know who that is you don't watch Disney Channel enough) and Bailey had her heart set on being a Greek Goddess.

Bailey and crew made little witch hats out of cookies for her class party.

I was able to catch Josie's spook parade at school.
We met up with the Muscha cousins for the evening.

Park City Housewarming

Grandma Lynn and Grandpa Wayne moved to Park City, and we met up with lots of other family members for a housewarming weekend/early Thanksgiving.  We are happy to have them a little closer to Miles City.

Crafts and cousins!

Aunt Angie

We don't all get together very often.

Grandma Lynn is downsizing her snowman collection so we did some "shopping."

Catching up with Kimber.

Cousin love!

Game night.

Go Pink!

A friend convinced me to join a powder puff football team which plays to raise awareness for breast cancer.  Miles agreed to help coach as well.  Our rivals play for domestic abuse awareness, and it is the pink vs purple annual game.  This isn't just a show-up-and-play kind of powder puff game.  We practiced for a couple of months, and it was serious business.  At one point I thought I would need to have my wedding band cut off because my finger was so swollen.  I wrecked my shoulder and it is just finally feeling better almost two months later.  We had pages and pages of plays to learn and even had fancy wristbands with receiver routes on them.  I had been warned that the game would be rough, and they weren't kidding.  We should have been in full pads and helmets!  I got to know a bunch a great ladies, but I think I will just watch next year.
We gathered on the night before the game for a Honk-and-Wave.

Game Day!
Our great coaches!

After the game pizza and beers.

NDSU Homecoming Weekend 2017

It has become a tradition for Miles and I to head to Fargo for NDSU Homecoming weekend.  We meet up with many of Miles' college friends for the festivities and game.  The girls get to spend the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa in Harvey.  This year they got to drive the Enchanted Highway which has a series of metal sculptures along the way.  They also took in Host Fest in Minot on Saturday.  We were all very tired when we arrived home on Sunday, but it was a great weekend.

Billings Birthday Bonanza!

Clea and Bailey decided to celebrate their birthdays together in Billings so Anna and I took them for the day.  We started at Get Air, headed to the Asian Grill, and did a bit of shopping before the trip home.

Grandparent's Day!

Grandma Lynn and Grandpa Wayne came to Miles City for Grandparent's Day at Josie's school.  We also had a birthday supper for Bailey while they were here.
Spending time in Josie's class!

Happy early Birthday to Bailey!

First Days of School 2017

We are off to an amazing start of our school year.  Josie started kindergarten, and Bailey is in 4th.  They are both doing so great!  I am enjoying my 2nd year as the school librarian as well.

Bailey wore a dress the first day but has been back in shorts and tees since.  Too much playing to do at recess!

Josie started a day after Bailey, and she declared it the "Best Day Ever!"

I am so proud of my girlies!

Misc. Summer Fun

I don't know why, but this picture cracks me up.
Bailey and her friend Taryn at FamFest.

One last hurrah at the Frog Pool with Autumn and Dessie.

She spent her birthday money on a Baby Alive.  It talks, crawls, and pees.
Bailey has had fun with the MC Rock Adventures this summer.

Bailey grew her 3rd grade cabbage for a contest.  I don't think she will win though.  Oh well.

Bailey and Shaylee really enjoyed the fair.

My future's so bright I gotta wear shades. Josie thought the eclipse was cool.

Bailey took multiple art classes, including this one on ephemeral sculptures.
