Spring Soccer

Bailey finished up another season of soccer, and she is excited for soccer camp this August.

The last day of school 2017

Josie absolutely loved preschool, and Bailey did a great job in 3rd grade.  We are so proud of them!

Heading into her last day of preschool.

Bailey got to spend the night in the country at her friend Shaylee's house.

For some reason the girls love to cram into this storage tub.  Goofballs!

Goodbye to our Host Daughters

Our host daughter Emma graduated from MCC and headed home for the summer.  She is going to continue her education at a school in Boston.  We are excited to keep in touch with her and hopefully see her again.  We also said goodbye to Coco, but for a different reason.  Her heart was leading her on a mission for her church.  She has decided to pause her education and follow her heart.  We were sad to see her go, but we wish her all the best.

We made sure to have each girl over for a going away supper.

Congratulations Emma!
We also got to cheer for Maria who spent lots of time at our house as well.  Congrats Maria.

Basketball Beginnings

Bailey gave basketball a try for the first time.  Our community piloted a new program to give the younger kids a chance to learn some basketball skills.

Breakfast with the Pricesses 2017

Each spring the young girls and boys in Miles City get the chance to meet all of their favorite royalty.  The Miles City Academy puts on a fundraiser called Breakfast with the Princesses.  Kiddos are encouraged to dress up and tour through the very cool old building (which used to be a convent) and meet princes and princesses around each corner.  This year we took Jacey as well.

Patriotic Play

The Lincoln School does a special play each year honoring our nation and our veterans.  Bailey got the part of the young student who has recently moved to the US from Mexico, and throughout the play the other students teach her about America through songs and patriotic displays.

Great Grandpa Bob's 95th Birthday

We headed to Plentywood to help Great Grandpa Bob celebrate his 95th birthday.  He had such a great day, and it was wonderful to be there.  It would turn out to be the last time we will see Grandpa here on earth because he recently passed away.  We miss him, but we are happy that he is with Great Grandma Lucille.

We went to visit Great Grandma's grave while we were there.

Josie helped Grandpa open his cards.

Uncle Carl, Aunt Rhoda, Grandpa Bob, and my dad.
Uncle Traig made the trip with us.

Bailey added some artwork to the birthday sign.
We love you Great Grandpa!

Easter 2017

We headed to the Gallatin Valley to celebrate Easter with family.  It snowed just in time for a big Easter egg hunt, but we carried on.

Overall we had a nice holiday.  We got to spend time with Grandpa Bob and Grandma Sue as well, but I failed at getting any pictures.
