If only I had known ...

We had been struggling to get Josie to eat much of anything but fruit.  I really hated meal time with her.  About a week ago I offered her a spoon in hopes she would at least attempt to use it.  It turns out she will eat whatever we give her if she gets a spoon or fork and a plate.  Suddenly my little vegetarian was eating meat!  I would have given her a utensil long ago if I had known she wanted one.  Her eating still isn't perfect, but it is much, much better.

Why I carry hand sanitizer

Miles had some luck bird hunting, and showed up at home with a couple of pheasants. Bailey adopted one of them, and tried to will it back to life.  She really wanted to keep it for a pet.  I love the picture with her friend, Clea, in the background.  Clea was not impressed with the whole situation, and thought the birds were quite gross.

Pee Break, Josiepants, Ellie, and Makeover Mania

We were headed to Belgrade when Bailey needed to pee right away.  I am not sure why Miles picked this spot but the whole thing was hilarious. Poor Bailey.

Bailey was entertaining Josie in the car on the same trip and got her to put on some glasses from Halloween. We were calling her Professor Josephine.

Chocolate chip pancakes are delicious!

Aww... Ellie is such a wonderful dog. We love her.

There is something about Josie in the bath that makes me want to take lots of pictures.  And don't worry about the red water, it is a bath dye and not because someone is bleeding profusely.

Bailey and Clea had a spa day at home.  They even got to makeover Mom.  I did not take any pictures of that loveliness though.

Jules Photography Halloween Pictures

I just figured out how to put a link to Halloween pictures from a local photographer.  Thank goodness someone took pictures of my kids.  These are very cute.

So cute!

Halloween Happiness

Kids love Halloween.  I am not so crazy about it, but I try to enjoy it for the girls.  Miles and I helped Bailey carve pumpkins, and I attended the Costume Parade at Bailey's school.  It was adorable to watch all those little ones parade around the block in their outfits and huge smiles. That might have been my favorite part of the holiday. Miles City offers quite a few choices of activities starting on Halloween afternoon, and we hit a few things then made it home in time for a quick dinner and some door-to-door trick-or-treating with Tyler and Caden.  Unfortunately I didn't do a marvelous job of getting pictures of the girls this year, and there aren't any pics of the trick-or-treating.  Bummer.

Ooey, gooey pumpkin guts!

Here comes the parade!

Ballerina Bailey and her BFF Clea.

The Sleep Inn hotel had a fun Halloween carnival for the kids.  Here is Bailey guessing what creepy stuff is in the box.

Josie held back and watched with her balloon most of the time. I wish I would have gotten some better pictures of her. Oh well.
After the carnival we headed to the hospital where they go all out for the kids.  Someone was there taking professional pictures too, but I am not sure how to get a look at the pics.  I will figure that out.  Lots of the offices have candy for the kids, and all of the extended care patients sit out in the hall for trick-or-treating.  We met up with the other Muscha clan and the kids had fun. Another Halloween done and over, and now I have to muster up some will power so I don't gorge on all the chocolate in the house.

First Snow!

We got our first snow followed by a warm day - which made for perfect fort building.  Bailey and her friends worked hard all afternoon with a little help from Josie.

The older girls had to teach Josie all about eating snow. Gee, thanks ladies.

I am in love with this picture! She looks so big in her snow gear.

Bailey and her BFF Clea did some serious snowball rolling.
