4th of July Trip 2015

We set out for a 10 day trip that ended with the 4th of July weekend.  Instead of writing all about it, I will describe the pictures and that should give you a good idea of all the great memories we made.

Our first stop was Plentywood.  The girls spend lots of time playing on the hammock at Carl and Karen's farm.

Josie loves the moon, and here she is trying to touch it.  It was hilarious.

This picture of the farm brings back memories for me.

Great Grandpa Bob was delighted with the girls.

After we left Plentywood we stopped at Fort Union.  Bailey wanted to be in Montana and ND at the same time for this picture.

Fort Union was very cool, but the weather was very hot.

Our next stop was Watford City to see Great Grandma Lucille.  She is doing great!

Our final destination was Harvey, ND.  We hit the pool the first day we were there.

Bailey was so brave!

Of course we had to spend time at the Harvey Beach.

I adore this picture!

Daddy and Grandpa Wayne had a successful day of fishing.

Miles and I left the girls in Harvey and headed to the Turtle Mountains and Lake Metigoshe for a getaway. This is the "famous" turtle in Bottineau, ND,

We joined the hoards of mosquitoes in Metigoshe State Park and went for a hike.

We stopped long enough to take a quick selfie and let the bugs catch up to us.

We had to keep moving or risk being carried away by the skeeters.

This is how I felt about the above mentioned skeeters.

We came across the cutest baby woodchucks on the trail.

While we were gone Grandma Kate took the kids to the playground and sent us some pictures.

The rest of the Miles City Muschas arrived, and back to the beach we went.

Trying to beat the heat with some ice pops.

More beach fun!

When you gotta go, you gotta go.

Daddy took Josie on her first waverunner ride, and she thought it was fantastic!

We got to spend great time with lots of the cousins.

Woohoo for the beach!

Aunt Jen and I did the 5K Colordash on the 4th of July.

Rounding the corner for the finish line!

Bailey, Tyler, and Caden were at the finish line throwing pink on everyone.  And they covered themselves as well.

We did it!

We followed up the run with the 4th of July parade.  It was hot, but that didn't stop the kids from having a good time.

Waiting for candy.

Grandma Kate!

Grandpa Wayne!

Adorable

Happy 4th of July!

Yippee for candy!

The slip and slide was a great way to cool off.

Jen got this cool picture of Bailey and Tyler.
Playing with the wading pool.

Time for fireworks, which Josie kept calling firefighters.

Cutie-patootie!
We hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!  We sure did.
