Soccer Camp!

August means British Challenger Soccer Camp!  Bailey had been looking forward to camp all summer for two reasons.  1.  She loves soccer.  2.  We were signed up to host coaches at our house again this year.  We hosted coaches last year, and we were all looking forward to meeting the new guys who would be staying with us for a week.
Here are the kids at camp.  The players are divided up into teams and take part in a World Cup competition all week.

Bailey's team is waiting patiently for the start of a World Cup game.

Go Bailey!

Bailey's team was China, and the players were supposed to make a flag to represent their team.

China won!!

This is Bailey getting her certificate at the end of camp. High fives from all the coaches.

The last day of camp included a shoot out for the coaches.  The losing coaches got soaked!

Jack was one of the coaches who stayed with our family.  We took them to the Waterworks Art Center.

Chris was the other coach we hosted.  Both coaches live outside of Manchester, England.

We spent one afternoon at  Spotted Eagle with all the coaches.

This is one of the Brazilian coaches who worked with the older kids.

We had kayaks and paddle boards for the afternoon.

Bailey, Jack, and Chris.

Josie had fun too!

The Brazilian coaches. I would put their names but I have no idea how to spell them.

Jack and Josie.

It was sad to say good-bye to Jack and Chris.  We really enjoyed having them at our house.
Another great week of soccer camp and hosting.  We are excited to do it all again next year.
