May Happenings

May passed by in a blur, and I have a feeling the rest of the summer will be the same.  Here are a few highlights:

We had a going away party for Emma, who finished her first year of school and headed home for the summer.  Lucky for us she has decided to return to Miles City for a good part of the summer and will be back sooner than we thought.

The last week of school was full of fun and games for Bailey.  Field day was a big hit!  Go Bailey!

At the end of the day the firetrucks arrived to spray the kids.

The last day of 2nd grade with Miss Askin.  What a great year!

Here is Ellie "playing" with Josie.  So sweet.

One evening Josie curled up on the ottoman and fell asleep.  The first day of summer vacation was too much for her I guess.

We headed to Laramie, WY over Memorial Day weekend to see our friends Emmett, Tennille, Evie, and Leif.  They took us on a beautiful hike.

Movie night with Evie and Leif.

We stopped along the hike to have a little snack.

Miles and Bailey planted the garden together, which is tradition in our family.

We had almost given up on our Praying Mantis egg, and then it hatched!  Hundreds of baby mantis!

We moved them into a larger home until the rain stopped pouring.  They have been set free in the yard to help control our aphid issues.
