Bailey had her last day of preschool on Wednesday, and I have to admit I was a bit sad. So was Bailey. She was nervous and bummed about it for about a week leading up to the day. Preschool has been such a great experience for her here, and it was really the first stable thing she had when we came to Miles City. We didn't have a house yet, and Josie was a newborn and requiring lots of my attention. Getting Bailey into a routine of going to school and having her meet friends and her great teachers really helped us. I get a bit teary right now because I feel like it was such an important part of our transition, and I am so thankful that she was at Let Me Shine this year. They put on a very cute program on the last day followed by a reception. We are hoping to get together with some of her friends this summer, and she is excited to see who will be in her class when she starts kindergarten in the fall.
On the same day as her last day of preschool she also had her first
t-ball game. Miles had to be in Helena for the week so it was a busy
day for me but we made it all work. Josie was quite tired by the time
the game was over, but we didn't have any major meltdowns.
